Since coming to Oxford on April 23rd in 2025, The Pants Store has become a staple in shopping for your next outfit.

Mr. Taylor Gee founded the Pants Store in 1950 located in downtown Leeds, AL. Taylor Gee started as a pant jobber, and he would drive the Southeast, selling his pants to retailers. People began shopping his warehouse in Leeds and milling through his pant bins for pants. Taylor Gee said, "They started buying pants from me, and they just called it "The Pants Store". While Pants Store started out simply carrying industrial clothing brands, they now carry clothing, shoes, and accessories for the whole family. People in Leeds and the surrounding Birmingham area have come to know and trust The Pants Store for the lowest prices and best customer service. The Pants Store has since expanded to six locations around northern Alabama and now Oxford! With the Gee family still running The Pants Store, their goals and ideals remain to always put the customer first and make sure of their satisfaction.
