Brooke is passionate about building community, providing top-notch customer service and giving her clients the best possible real estate experience. As Broker/Owner of Neighborhood Realty, a boutique real estate brokerage in Oxford, MS, she excels in customer service and the management of each and every detail of a real estate transaction.
Brooke is a Mississippi native who moved to Oxford in 1999 to attend the University of Mississippi and never left! She earned both her Bachelor and Master degrees in Music and lived in Hungary for a year as a Fulbright Scholar. After teaching music at Oxford Middle School and working as an administrator for the Croft Institute for International Studies at Ole Miss, Brooke found her dream job in real estate. She was fortunate to work as an agent with Dick Marchbanks before opening her own brokerage in 2021.
Brooke loves serving the Oxford and University communities. She has served as President of LOU-HOME, Inc., Secretary and a Director of the North Central Mississippi Board of Realtors, Artistic Director of the Oxford Civic Chorus, Choral Director at Oxford-University United Methodist Church, and Vestry member of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church. Most recently, she serves as a Commissioner for the City of Oxford’s Affordable Housing Commission.
Brooke loves living in Oxford with her husband, Michael (Professor of Music and Director of the Mississippians Jazz Band), her eleven-year-old son, Bennett, and their dog and cat (Roxy and Thundercat).
Margaret has built a strong community in Oxford through honesty, compassion, and engagement, all of which she will put to use to help you find your dream home in Oxford with Neighborhood Realty. She cares deeply about the community she serves and is eager for her clients to find a home that meets them where they are in life, whether with a starter home or a forever home.
Margaret first fell in love with Oxford when she started attending the University of Mississippi in 1998 where she received her Bachelor's degree. After briefly working in Nashville, TN, she was drawn back to Oxford in 2003 and has made it her home ever since. She came to know many areas of Oxford while working as a full time property manager of both commercial and residential properties. She took time away from work after her second child was born but couldn’t stay still for long so began working as the nursery coordinator at her church, Christ Presbyterian. Margaret is thrilled to be back in the world of real estate with Neighborhood Realty.
Margaret gives back to the Oxford community any chance she gets. She volunteers in the Oxford School district and has served on the PTO in several of our Oxford schools. In addition to working at Christ Presbyterian Church part time, she spends many hours volunteering through the church in the women’s ministries, children’s ministries, and member care.
Margaret lives in Oxford with her husband, Rob (General Manager of Oxford Utilities), her son, Robert, and daughter, Miller, as well as their dog, Dr. Fauci.
In the 5th grade, Meredith fell in love with the city of Oxford and all things Ole Miss after high-fiving Eli Manning as he made his way down The Walk of Champions.
Originally from Mandeville, LA, Meredith was introduced to Ole Miss through her grandfather, who played football for the University as a freshman. He brought his children and grandchildren to games over the years, and Meredith felt right at home among the pageantry of the Grove and electric football scene. At ten years old, she knew exactly where she wanted to go to college, and she joined the ranks of Ole Miss alumni in 2013.
Soon after, Meredith met a Mississippi State man named Kyle, and they have loved calling Oxford home with their two daughters, Eleanor (6) and Birdie (2).
Bringing knowledge and experience with both insurance and banking, Meredith is excited to empower her real estate clients with additional resources and support. She loves people and is delighted to serve her community.
Meredith is excited to partner with her future clients on their real estate needs and opportunities!
