Interior Decorator Spotlight: Spring Cleaning Edition – Let’s Be Clear

This month’s Interior Decorator Spotlight focuses on SPRING CLEANING with this local Oxford business, Let’s Be Clear. Opened by Noel Brown and Stacy Stovall during the pandemic in 2020, they were introduced by friends and the rest is organizing & packing history! Stacy, who had been organizing for friends for years, and Noel, who wanted to start a packing business, decided to start a business combining both of their ideas.

We asked Noel and Stacy 3 questions:

Neighborhood Realty: “What services do you offer?”

Noel & Stacy: “We offer full packing services, unpacking services and home organization. We also help coordinate moves and work with clients to insure their move is seamless. Home organization can have many facets and we have done it all! Some of the most common areas for organizing are food pantries, kitchens and closets!”

Neighborhood Realty: “What is your process when meeting with a new client?”

Noel & Stacy: “We like to meet at a client’s home so we know how to best serve their needs. We walk through all the areas to discuss their ideas and goals for their home and to measure spaces for organizing materials. We love to see a finished space and show how systems can help anyone feel organized! Packing services vary in length from client to client so it is best to meet a few weeks ahead of time so we can insure the availability and schedule packing days. We provide all materials and make moving as easy as possible!”

Neighborhood Realty: “What are some general spring cleaning suggestions you could offer?”

Noel & Stacy: “We love to help clients purge and organize their belongings, based on their current needs. For example, if you are switching your closet with seasonal clothes, it is a great time to “clean out.” Decide if you really want to keep those clothes or if it is time to donate. When moving, it is best to spend some time decluttering before you pack and consider your new home. Will you have the same spaces to fill? Will you have the same storage options?”
