Neighborhood Philanthropy: Stronger Together Oxford

We are all in the clean-up phase of Winter Storm Fern. As many people say, “It takes a village,” and in our case here in Oxford, “It takes a community.” Stronger Together Oxford is the community volunteer hub of Oxford, Mississippi. It focuses on local organizations’ needs and helping to set up/recruit volunteers for those needs. Once Winter Storm Fern passed through Oxford, Stronger Together Oxford began their work putting together information for residents, organizing volunteer opportunities, etc. Many people feel helpless during these kinds of events and it really is important to have organizations take the lead and show people “how” they can help.

We are grateful to Stronger Together Oxford for providing the much needed service of helping to place volunteers across our community and sharing resources. The office is located at 1308 N Lamar Blvd, Suite 4. They are open Monday-Friday 7 am – 3 pm.
