Neighborhood Business Highlight: Volta Taverna

Looking for half-priced margaritas and mojitos and some of the best Greek food in Oxford? Started by locals and Ole Miss graduates, Randy Yates and Brooke Krizbai, Volta has been serving its Greek cuisine with a southern twist since 2005.

Located at 710 North Lamar, locals and visitors alike enjoy the atmosphere inside or outside on the deck. Half priced margaritas and mojitos are Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays! Appetizer favorites are the loaded cheese fries, homemade hummus and Hotty Toddy balls. Favorite entrees are, of course, the lamb and beef gyro, Greek salad, power bowl and the Volta pizza.
