Neighborhood Business Highlight: Lost Pizza Oxford

Two college roommates from the Mississippi Delta had a dream to open their own restaurant in Indianola, MS, and now have 28 locations across 6 states. Lost Pizza, a funky pizza spot with a Mississippi Blues theme, has been thriving in Oxford since 2017. And we are so excited to highlight them this month!

Brooks Roberts and Preston Lott wanted to create a cool spot for friends to hang out and enjoy good food. Lost “Dog” Pizza Company opened in Indianola, MS in 2007, soon followed by a second location in nearby Cleveland, MS. In 2011, the Lost Pizza Company opened its first franchise location in Tupelo, MS, and it’s been continuing to grow ever since.

Lost Pizza Oxford is run by Chuck McCarty and his stepson, Josh Bodie. Their location is in the center of town with a downstairs dining and patio area and an upstairs bar with a rooftop patio. Almost every menu item is made in-house and they only use the freshest ingredients. So when they sell out, they are out until the next day!

Of course, the top seller is their pizzas, offering both a regular crust and a cauliflower crust. But they are also known for their Delta Hot Tamales and boneless chicken wings. You can order online, through a delivery service or eat in at the restaurant.

We love Lost Pizza, their food and their funky style! Lost Pizza is located at 800 College Hill Road, #7102 and they are open daily from 11 am – 9 pm. Follow them on social media for specials and updates.
