Back to School!

Local public K-12 schools start back today! Parents, (some) children & teens and the Oxford-Lafayette community are excited to get back to a more routine schedule. We thought we’d share a bit about our two largest public school systems in the Oxford-Lafayette community.

Lafayette County Schools
Established in 1965, the Lafayette county school district serves those not living in the Oxford city limits or designated Oxford school system. There are four schools that serve about 2780 students. You can learn more about this school district here.

Oxford Schools
The Oxford School district has 7 schools that serve 4800+ students. There are some neighborhoods not in the Oxford city limits that are in the Oxford school district. You can learn more about this school district here.
